We are putting together the final touches to the staging for The Chalk Legend concert being held on the 18th and 19th May at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy in Dorset.
The Chalk Legend is a Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra project inspired by London 2012. Written by composer Stephen McNeff, it tells the story of the Vikings whose skeletons were unearthed on the Weymouth relief road in music, dance and theatre.
Designed by JaneJaney the staging consists of two large raked platforms resembling parts of a Viking ship. We will post some photos up shortly.
